Background information : Polli Prodip Development Organization(PPDO) established in First January 2003 as charity organization in response to rehabilation need of the adolescent children who had been abandone by their parents in the face of adversaries of life. It is non-political, non profitable and non government organization. It came into existence by the active initiatives of Mr.Talukdar Fayzur Rahamn Khosu in response to the felt-needs of the locality with a view to promote the socio economics status of the distressed people through motivation,pepoles organization,non formal education,training and joint economic activities.

Registration Status : Registerd from the department of Social Services under the Ministry of Social Welfare Govt. of  the people Republic of Bangladesh vide Registration No.MA-01499 dated August 13,2007,and Ministry of Youth : Registration No.MA/ Halu-26 dated January 01,2009,

Vision :

 The poor and underprivileged people are poor and underprovided because they have been exploited by

the rich, The will work for the betterment of  their life.The Organization will just play the role of 

acatalyst.

Mission

• Creating awaress and implementing programs for ensuring cleam and environment friendly aimosohere ;

• Faciliting farm and non-farm income generating activities among the destitute women, land –less and marginal farmers, Tribal communities and the disaster affected peoples;

• Providing training and technical supports to the beneficiaries in the areas of cropping, farming,fisheries so that they can equip themselves to utilize their skills in productive businesses;

• Awareness building and provide adequate support to the beneficiaries in the areas of Water Sanitation, Climate Change and Disaster Management,Human Rights Good Governance and Women Empowerment,violence Against Women (VAW),  rehabilitation activites activitiews for orphan  and distressed children,

• Ensuring food security by installing solar Irrigation pumping System (SHS) low cost farm  mechanization, ensuring rural electrification by solar Home System (SHS) and building a healthy and eco friendly environment by installing improve \Cooking stove (ICS) and Biogas plant;

• Ensuting qualitative changes in gencral, technical and medical education;

• Conduct development research and need based training.

The goal of the organization is to reduce poverty and to promote sustainable development.

ObjectivesS

As per approved constitution,(PPDO)asted the following objectives to achieve the goal:

 Creation of employment  opportunities through skill development and Vocational Training support program for income –generation.

 Ensuring Literacy Continuing Education (CE) for those, who did not have the opportunities to be enrolled,drop outs and peoples with special needs.

 Awareness building regarding legal aid,democracy, good  governances, health care,sanitation,use of safe water,gender issues, safe sex and HIV/AIDS.

 Natural disaster management, food secutity, advocacy, research and techonology improvement,

 Strengthening local government, monitoring, evaluation, civil society initiatives, community based organization,

 Organize lical  initiatives for production  of goods and servicws for income generation,

 Organize cultural activites and sport events.
